THE 24-7
PRAYER ROOM
The 24-7 Prayer Room is a cosy space for personal prayer and worship time with God. The kaupapa is simple: take a break from the demands of life, put your phone on silent and engage with your Heavenly Father in a beautiful space.
Book here (coming soon).
Sometimes getting away to pray—away from from the never ending to-do
list at school, work or home—is all our mind, body and soul needs! Come
step into a quiet, reflective space to pray, worship, journal, be still, cry your
heart out, read, meditate on the Word, engage in our prayer prompts, etc.
Birthed in 2025 and opening to the public in mid-2026, the new 24-7 Prayer
Room is located at The Lighthouse in Mt Pleasant, Christchurch. The window
opens out into a beautiful garden, views of the estuary and sea, and sounds of
native birds.
The vision is to foster a deepening connection to God by providing the
people of Christchurch and beyond with a personal, intimate, prayerful
space that is bookable nearly round the clock. Our prayer is you leave
refreshed after each time you step foot into the prayer room.
To keep this space running we rely on donations to pay rental fees. Thank you for considering helping keep this place alive and well! Donation information can be found here.
