PRAYER TENT
A prayerful space serving CYS Southern Easter Camp
in Christchurch, New Zealand since 2017
We partner with Canterbury Youth Services who host the annual Southern Easter Camp for the South Island of New Zealand. This overnight, 5 day camp, has been running since 1995 and draws an average of 3,000 teenagers each year.
We run the Prayer Tent which operates during the campers' free hours (arvos and late evenings) to get personal prayer from our team or spend quiet alone time reflecting on what's been happening throughout camp. We provide creative prompts, worship, prophetic prayer encouragement, prayers for physical healing and provide prayer guides to help guide one's time in the tent. We also host workshops and have intercession teams.
The Prayer Tent pulls together believers from around Christchurch to serve in various capacities. We are grateful for our amazing volunteers.
